Happy Bee-Day

Hello friends! It’s Ashley with a fun way for you to incorporate a gift card pocket right onto your card! By stenciling a Heart Gift Card Pocket to match my background, I was able to add it right to my scene for today! Check it out!

I started this card by using the Cloudy Skies stencil with some Pinkfresh Studio Ocean Breeze ink to make a cloudy background on white cardstock. I blended Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink onto a second piece of white cardstock, then used the Grassy Lass Border Dies to make a grassy bottom for my card. I thought it needed something extra, so I flicked some green Copic markers for texture and tucked in some Wintergreen Amazonian Leaves I had left over from another project. I then framed the whole piece with a white Skinny Imperial Rectangle Frame.

I cut the Heart Gift Card Pocket out of white cardstock, and blended clouds onto it to match my background. I added it to my card with strong adhesive, then used the Interactively Yours stamps to add an “open here” direction to the bottom. I stamped my images from Big Bug Hugs and colored with Copics, using Davina’s March Color Snapshot as a guide. I fussy cut the images out and added them to the card. I finished with a cute bee-day sentiment from Big Bug Hugs.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
