Creating 2 Cards with the Work + FREE Gift with Purchase
Hello there crafty friends. It’s Mindy from My Creative Scoop and today I’m going to share how I created 2 cards with the work of one. I’m using this adorable little stamp set called Sweet Stuff. This stamp is actually NOT available but you can earn it free when you place an order on the Heffy Doodle Site today! How awesome is that!
So, today I’m going to share how I made 2 cards using one design. This is a great way to create multiple simple cards.
The first thing I did was stamp all these adorable little macaroons in a pattern, on my Copic Xpress it Blending card. The paper is cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I’m stamping in my Memento Black ink so I’m able to color them with my Copic Markers.
Here’s all of them all colored up. The color combos I used are the following:
Y28, Y26, Y21, YR0000
E23, R32, R30, R000
BG18, BG13, BG11, BG000
V17, V15, V12, V000
After all your images are colored then trim your paper to 4 x 5 1/4 I trim off a little of all 4 sides so I have the images all shown evenly — or pretty close on all sides. Then I cut a black piece of cardstock at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.
Then, take each of the pieces of card stock and cut them both from corner to corner — right down the middle. Then adhere each of the stamped pieces in the center of the black triangles.
After you’ve glued them together then adhere both pieces to your card bases.
I added my sentiment and then some jewels — the same colors as my macaroons.
I hope you enjoyed my post and tutorial today. Don’t forget to place an order with Heffy Doodle so you can get this adorable stamp FREE!
