Hey Heffy Doodlers!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. It’s especially good luck if you’re having a rough day–
Cause who doesn’t love a RAINBOW?!
Several months ago, I purchased some new watercolors. I’ve been experimenting with them off and on, and used them for today’s card.
I applied clean clear water on to my watercolor panel and then dropped in some different colors of the watercolors and then used my paintbrush to spread the water and blend the colors together to create my rainbow! I trimmed down my rainbow watercolor panel and set it aside.
After I was finished with my watercolor panel, I stamped out some images from the Lucky Friends stamp set on to white cardstock. I colored the images with my copic markers and then used the matching die set to cut them out. I added some details to the images with a white gel pen.
I cut and scored a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and then mounted my watercolor panel on to my card base by gluing a piece of fun foam on to the back of the panel and adhering it to the card base.
I then used the lucky die and cut several pieces of white cardstock and glued them together for added dimension. I picked out a few of the sentiment phrases from the stamp set and stamped them on to scrap pieces of white cardstock.
I finished off the card by trimming the sentiment strips down and mounting them on to the card in-between the lucky die using foam tape.
Thanks again for stopping by today and have a lucky day!
