You Make Me A Happy Camper

Hello Heffy Doodle friends! It’s Anita here from Just A Pigment Of My Imagination. Today I’m sharing a fun scene card. This card features the adorable Happy Camper stamps and dies. Some of you may have received this as a freebie during the last release, but if not, do not fear! When I told Lesley that I had used this set, she agreed to have a fun promotion this week so those of you who haven’t yet gotten your crafty paws on this set can still get it! So for this week only, all orders over £30 at the Heffy Doodle store will get the Happy Camper stamp completely free! YAY! Spend £45 and you will get the dies free too! No codes necessary. Promo ends Monday 11th March.

So why don’t you hop on over and get yours now at the Heffy Doodle store!

Anyway… let’s get on with today’s creation!

To make this card I stamped images from Happy Camper, Fireside Dreams, Nuts About You, and Deer To Me stamps. I colored the images with copics and die cut them using the Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine and the coordinating dies.

I stamped the trees from the Lovely Landscapes stamp and die cut the landscape with the Lovely Landscapes Dies. I inked the grass with Rustic Wilderness and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks and I colored the trees with copics. I inked the sky with Salvaged Patina, Broken China, and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered both the landscape and sky with watercolor paints and thinned gouache.

I adhered the landscape directly to the card base with liquid glue. I heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock and adhered it with foam tape. I adhered all the colored images with foam tape.

I used a black gel pen on the birds’ eyes and added spots to the mushrooms with a white gel pen. I used crystal glaze on the camper tires.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Hugs, Anita
