You Go, Gull!!

Hello GULL friends!! Chitra here and I am back again to share couple of cards with you all..

This time I got to play with this another fun set called You Go, gull , this is such a versatile set that you can create a scene for your card by just using this set or in combination with Lil Lighthouse Stamp and A Little Shellfish sets…. So fun!!

To create this card I started by stamping the images onto white alcohol friendly cardstock using Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic markers. Then using the matching dies I cut out the images.

I took a white cardstock panel and die-cut out an oval shaped window out of it. Then took another white cardstock panel and used Distress oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid lagoon and Cracked pistachio to create the ocean scene.

I started assembling my card, first the ink blended panel is directly adhered to an A2 white cardbase. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom white negative panel and then adhered everything using foam squares. Images are adhered using both foam squares and glue.

For my second card I pretty much followed the same steps. I stamped, colored and die-cut out the images first.

I took the shaped cut out which I got from my first card and ink-blended with Distress oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid lagoon and Cracked pistachio to create the ocean scene, I splattered some ink on the panel and set it to dry.

I took an A2 white cardbase and glued a white panel on top and then adhered the shaped panel as well, I stamped the sentiment using black ink and then started assembling my card. I started adhering the cute images with both foam squares and glue to create a fun scene.

Thank you so very much for stopping by the Heffy Doodle blog today and checking out my projects, hope you liked it! Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to guest design, I really had fun playing with the cute images.
