Winter Wonderland with Guest Designer Leeds

Hi everyone! Leeds (@leeds_craftroom) here, back with another guest design post for Heffy Doodle. I can’t believe Christmas is only 8 weeks away, have you started making your Christmas card yet? Christmas is my favorite holiday, so for today post I used the Wanna Build a Snowman Stamp Set to create an interactive double slider card and a Christmas bauble.

First, I stamped all the cute images using Memento Black Ink Pad and then colored them using Copic Markers.  Next, I took a few pieces of white card stock and ran it through my die cut machine with Lawn Fawn Double Slider Dies and ink blended Distress Oxide Black Soot, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves, and Wilted Violet.

Then, I took another white card stock and ran it through my die cut machine with Lawn Fawn Hillside Border. I heat-embossed the sentiment using red embossing powder and splatter the backgrounds and images using white acrylic paints. Finally, I assembled all the panels together, attached it to my card base and my double slider card was done!

After finishing my card, I thought it would be nice to make a Christmas Bauble that complements the card. I took a white card stock and ran it through my die cut machine with a scallop die slightly larger than the bauble. I ink blended it with the same Distress Oxide combination that I used for the card, splatter it with white acrylic paint and glued the images. I then used a liquid glue to stick the bauble to the card base, tied red ribbon and green twine and Voila! My Christmas bauble was done!

I hope you enjoyed and feel inspired by the card and bauble I’ve shared with you today. Thank you so much Heffy Doodle for this opportunity, I’m beyond grateful and honored. And thank you so much for taking time to stop by and read my post. Wishing you a wonderful day!
