Video: Strawberry Milk Cows Pop Up Valentine!

Hello Friends! Happy Sunday! It’s Lauren and I have a new video to share with you today on the Heffy Doodle YouTube Channel. This month, I am sharing an interactive Valentine’s Day card using the Slider Pop Up Dies and Udderly Fabulous Stamp Set to make some strawberry milk cows! This card has lots of pink and I just thought it was a clever way to use the cows for Valentine’s Day.

I die cut the pop up dies out of patterned paper and colored cardstock in Bubblegum Blush. I used white cardstock for my pull tab and heart – the embossing is using the little embossing folder that comes with the die cut machine! The cows were stamped on the alcohol marker friendly cardstock in brown ink and colored them with Ohuhu Markers. I show some of my coloring in the video today if you’d like to see my marker choices.

To add more hidden fun, I stenciled on some pink hearts onto the Bubblegum Blush cardstock that only can be seen when the card receiver pulls on the pull tab. The sentiments also reveal themselves when the card slides into the pop up and the little milk bottle near the “I Love Moo” helps keep the slider popped up, too.

If interactive cards are not your favorite, you can still use this card for inspiration by using the patterned paper or stenciled paper as a background and add the white heart with the cows and strawberry milk as a counterpoint on the card. Don’t forget the punny sentiment, too!
