VIDEO: Slimline Encouragement Scene Card!

Hello crafty friends, It’s Julia here and today I am back with a new video for Heffy Doodle. I created a super fun encouragement slimline scene card! You can watch the video here!

I started by stamping out the images from Pandatastic Painters and Homeschool Hero onto Perfect Coloring Paper and I colored them in using Copic markers. Then, I die cut the DL Stitched Slimline Trio dies out twice and used one as my background panel and the other to cut my hills out of, so that I would habe the pretty stitching all around my card. Heffy Doodle just came out with a gorgeous set of slimline borders – the Slimline Scenery dies – but I don’t own that one yet so I just the Stitched Slopey Joes Border dies. I ran them through my die cutting machine once, lined up the hill and ran them through again, to cut my slimline panel .

I ink blended the background using Salty Ocean Distress Oxide and the Cloudy Skies Stencil. For the For the hills I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness.

Then it was already time to assemble my card! I added the stitched panel to a DL Slimline card base and the hills on top of that. After that, I adhered all my cute images to the card using Glubert  and foam squares. For my sentiment, I stamped one of the Pebble Sentiments greetings in black and die cut it using the Pebble Sentiments Add On as well as the  Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine.
