Video: Making 3 Cards with 1 Basic Background

One way I like to stretch my stamps is to take a basic background and a color palette, and make several cards.  Hi there, it’s Cassie back with another Heffy Doodle video to share with you all today.  If you’d like to see exactly how I made this card, you can head over to the Heffy Doodle YouTube Channel and check it out!

My color palette for today was green, orange, and black.  I started by cutting some card panels down to be the exact size of the front an A2 sized card.  I then used the Sliver Linings Cloud Border Die to cut that panel into four pieces.  I did this for all three card panels.  Next, I sponged some mint colored ink all along the edges of my cut pieces.  When that was done, I lined the pieces back up and taped the back of them with some Purple Tape.  Using the Fancy Foliage Stencil and that same mint colored ink, I sponged all along the edges of the stencil.

Next, I stamped and colored my images from the super adorable Wingman stamp set, and then used the matching dies to cut each of the images out.

I stamped the sentiments onto some Oreo Crunch Cardstock and heat embossed them with some white embossing powder, then cut the sentiments into strips.  I adhered all of my pieces to my card panels using some foam tape, and then embellished each of them with some green and some clear gems.

I love how these turned out, and I love that I have 3 cards for my efforts.  Imagine the possibilities!  I hope you enjoyed my card for today, and be sure to head over to the Heffy Doodle YouTube Channel to check out the exact process, and see the other videos we have to share.  Thanks for stopping by!
