VIDEO: Interactive Double Slider Card

Hello crafty friends, It’s Julia here and today I am back with a new video for Heffy Doodle! This time I made a fun interactive double slider card!

First, I stamped the images from Deer to Me, Nuts About You, Flying High, and Gnome Matter What on Bristol Smooth cardstock and colored them in using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Then, I die cut the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Tree die. I ran the main tree piece through my die-cutting machine again with the Woodgrain Texture Background to add stitching details. I used the Imperial Stitched Rectangles to cut all the background pieces and the Stitched Slopey Joe Border dies for the hills.

I ink blended the hills and background with Distress Oxide inks. Then, I die cut the pieces for my double slider mechanism with the new Mini Double Slider dies. I assembled the mechanism to have my cute squirrel pop up in the peekaboo window in the tree. I show all the details on how to assemble the mechanism in the video!

Then I added the background and one hill to an A2-sized card base, then added the double slider mechanism, and finally the remaining hills, tree, and canopy to my scene. I heat embossed the sentiment from Nuts About You in white onto black cardstock and added the strip on top of the canopy.

Then, it was already time to add all my cute images! I added them all with Glubert and foam squares!

I had so much fun making this interactive double slider card and I hope the video is helpful!
