Hello there, Carrie Rhoades here, back with another card making video using Dinky Dino to make a Slimline Window card.

I love this Stitched Slimline Trio die set because it is so much fun to make three mini scenes.

You can see this card come together in the video below.

If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can also view it on the Heffy Doodle YouTube channel.

I started this card using Kitch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. I just love pink and green for dinosaur cards.  And so I thought it would be fun to have a pink background for this card. I ink blended a white piece of paper with the Flamingo ink. Then splattered it first with water then with some shimmer ink in pink and electric lime. Metallic watercolor would also work great for this step.

I used the fabulous Stitched Slimline Trio to die cut the card front panel for this card from Bubble Gum Blush card stock.

Then I used the sentiment stamp, “Dino-mite” to stamp a background on this panel. I also splattered this with some clear shimmer.

While these panels were drying I stamped and colored all the images I wanted for this card. Besides the Dinky Dino stamp set I also used, Dino Time (for the large dinosaur) and Geology Rocks (for the Volcano).

Before assembling this card I pulled out the Amazonian Leaves and die cut one of each from Kiwi Crush card stock.

I adhered my stamped images to the ink blended background, using the window panel as my guide. I also stamped “Hope Your Day Is” in the middle window from the Dinky Dino set.  Then finished off the sentiment with a stamped and die cut “Dino-Mite” layered over my volcano image.

Most of the leaves are adhered to the back of the windows adding to the 3D feel of this card.

I mounted these two panels together using foam tape for dimension. This card would make a great shaker card if you wanted to take it up a notch.

This card front was mounted to a slimline card that measures 8-1/2″ x 7″, scored at 3-1/2″.  Which I also splattered with Electric Lime splatter.

To embellish this card I pulled out some enamel dots from my stash and just had fun adding them in and around the windows on this card. And my favorite part is the little pink baby Dino, popped up on the out side of the card, looking up at the mama!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Stamping,
