Video: Copic coloring techniques with Mona Toth

Hi this is Mona and today I have a video tutorial for you, where I am going to show you how I colored these cute hedgehogs from the Quill You Be Mine? Stamp Set in real time with Copic Markers. Be sure to check it out, find the video here. As always the you can find the used supplies below the post.
I started the cardmaking process with the card base. I decided to use this piece from the Fancy Nancy Frames Dies. Run it three times through my Die-cut machine with a 5.5″ by 4.25″ Neenah Solar white cardstock. When it was done, I picked the Steady Heart Stencil, placed it on my die-cutting plate, put on it the prepared card front, put on it the rubber embossing mat and plate and run it through the die-cut machine. Once It was done, I got a beautiful heart patterned dry embossed card front.
Next I am going to use the Quill You Be Mine? Stamp Set. These Hedgies are fabulous and I am going to show you, how I will color them. For the stamping I have used the Jet Black inkpad by Lawn Fawn. Before the coloring, I gave a quick heat set to my images. This will prevent the ink smearing. When it was done, I started the coloring process, be sure to check the video tutorial.
When the coloring was done, I added white highlights with Signo Uniball White Pen and let the images dry. For the background I have used the Cloudy Skies Stencil and I made a quick ink blending through it. I have used the Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean to create nice and fluffy skies.
Next, I run a green cardstock through the Die-cut machine with the Grassy Lass Border Dies, and made an ink blending on it too. This time I have used the Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. After this, I stamped the sentiments from the Quill You Be Mine? Stamp Set with watermark ink to the colored cardstock, then I heat embossed with white embossing powder.
In the end I put my card together. I hope you have enjoyed my project for today, be sure to check the video for the full tutorial with the extra tips and tricks. As always, you can find the used supplies below the post, and if you have any questions feel free to ask in a comment. See you next time, have an amazing day, Mona
