Unicorns at the Beach
Hello, it’s Kari here with a new video to share with Unicorns at the Beach! I think our Fluffy Puffy Unicorns deserve a day at the beach, don’t you? This video is jam-packed with tips for cardmaking, like: how to color unicorn hair, how to get a sandy beach look, and how to make all your clouds look a bit different (hint: it’s a Heffy Doodle stencil that does all the work for you!)

I think these unicorns look EXTRA happy to be taking a beach day. LOL. I started by putting together our beach cabin with THIS set. I love that weathered wood look and I show you how to get that effect in the video!
Then I share some Unicorn Hair coloring secrets in the video! I hope you enjoy…you can actually use these to color up any HAIR or animal fur/hair like this. It’s an easy way to get a stunning result.
To create this beach background, I use a variety of stencils (which I have linked below for you). Using these stencils makes it SO EASY to get a great background. I really do love the Cloudy Skies stencil because you can slip your card panel right inside to get lots of cloud variations! (see my video to see just what I am talking about…it’s a brilliant design).
I colored up that crab from the A Little Shellfish set with some coral colors to match our clouds in the sky, and added some dots for a sandy beach look.
