Good morning! Heather stopping by to share a bright and happy spring theme card – and who doesn’t love a snail with wiggly eyes, right?!?!?
I started off by masking off a panel of white cardstock and doing some Distress Oxide ink blending uisng Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn. I added some water splatters and a few gold splatters, then peeled the mask off and set it aside to dry.
Next I stamped several of the darling images from Big Bug Hugs, colored them with Copics, and die cut with the coordinating Big Bug Hugs dies. I added them with foam adhesive over the bottom of my inked panel, then stamped my sentiment underneath. I couldn’t resist adding some tiny wiggly eyes to the snail either – so fun!
The sequins were an unplanned addition, because right at the last minute I had some ink on my finger and ended up leaving a tiny smudge – don’t you hate when that happens? So grateful for sequins to embellish and cover those little mistakes!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful week!!!
