Thermoweb Collab – Masked and Stenciled Gnome Scene

Good afternoon! I hope you’ve been enjoying this week’s fun collaboration with Thermoweb and Heffy Doodle! I’m popping in this afternoon to share a card I created using several different Thermoweb products paired up with some adorable Heffy Doodle stamps and dies to create this masked and stenciled scene – keep reading for more details!

I started off by planning the scene I was going to create using the adorable Gnome Matter What stamp set. I used a panel of Luxury White cardstock, then started by stamping each of the gnomes, then stamped them again on Masking Magic paper and carefully fussy cut them out. I adhered those over the top of the gnomes, then stamped the toadstool and wheelbarrow, and repeated the masking process with them. I then added some stenciling over the top of the masked image using the fun Ring A Rosies stencil adhered in place with some of Thermoweb’s Pixie spray – AMAZING product that I am in love with now! I also love how thin that masking paper is – look how perfectly close to the images that stenciling was able to hit over the masks – it was perfect!

Once I peeled the stencil and masks off, I colored the scene in with my Copic markers – love the dimension that a masked scene creates! You could do the same thing by stamping and die cutting the images and layering them together, but it looks so neat as a one layer scene!

Finished off with a grassy border on the bottom using Grassy Lass Borders Die, a sentiment heat embossed on some of Thermoweb’s Black Onyx cardstock die cut in a strip with Strips of Ease, then wrapped some jute twine around the bottom several times and tied in a loose bow. That entire panel was die cut with Imperial Stitched Rectangles, matted in more of that black cardstock, then mounted on a white cardbase.

Hope you have been enjoying this fun week of collaboration! Make sure and check out the rest of the week, and hop over to the Thermoweb Blog to see more projects there – and don’t forget to leave comments for a chance to win a £30 gift certificate to the Heffy Doodle Store!

The whole scene is great. That is what their home should look like. The sky is cool.
