The Whole Mewniverse!

Hi everbody, and welcome back to the blog! It’s Cassie here, and today I’m sharing a cute card I made using the mini set Mewniverse. This set is so cute, and I’m so happy I finally got to use it.

I started by heat embossing a piece of A2 size cardstock with a star background stamp from Hero Arts. I used gold embossing powder so that it would resist the ink blending I was going to do over top. I used a blue, purple and pink combo for the blending and spritzed it with my Distress Sprayer to add some texture to the piece. Then I set it aside to dry. I used one of the dies from the Clover Frame Die set to cut out the scalloped shape from another A2 size card panel to create a window for the stars to peek through. On the top and bottom of this piece I heat embossed the sentiments from the Mewniverse stamp set with the same gold embossing powder from the starry background.

Next I stamped a bunch of the planets from a Lawn Fawn set as well as the images from the sweet Mewniverse stamp set and colored them in with my Copics. I cut everything out, and die cut the Mewniverse images with the coordinating dies. I also die cut a heart to center everything.

I popped the frame up as well as some of the die cut pieces, clustering planets around the cat. I just love how this turned out!
