Hi everbody, and welcome back to the blog! It’s Cassie here, and today I’m sharing a cute card I made using the mini set Mewniverse. This set is so cute, and I’m so happy I finally got to use it.
I started by heat embossing a piece of A2 size cardstock with a star background stamp from Hero Arts. I used gold embossing powder so that it would resist the ink blending I was going to do over top. I used a blue, purple and pink combo for the blending and spritzed it with my Distress Sprayer to add some texture to the piece. Then I set it aside to dry. I used one of the dies from the Clover Frame Die set to cut out the scalloped shape from another A2 size card panel to create a window for the stars to peek through. On the top and bottom of this piece I heat embossed the sentiments from the Mewniverse stamp set with the same gold embossing powder from the starry background.
Next I stamped a bunch of the planets from a Lawn Fawn set as well as the images from the sweet Mewniverse stamp set and colored them in with my Copics. I cut everything out, and die cut the Mewniverse images with the coordinating dies. I also die cut a heart to center everything.
I popped the frame up as well as some of the die cut pieces, clustering planets around the cat. I just love how this turned out! To finish the card I added some white gel pen accents and it was complete. Have you had a chance to create with this kitty yet? If so I’d love to hear how you got crafty with the set! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I’ll see you again soon with another card!
