Sweet Fur-End Card

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to another Color Me Happy Wednesday with Claudia (@mrsclocards). Today I wanna share this card I made using the Purrfect Day stamp and dies set and the Fancy Foliage stencil.

First I prepared the Wendy Vecchi Make Art STAY-tion, I took a piece of Heffy Doodle White Cardstock and I ink blended over the Fancy Foliage stencil using Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Worn Lipstick. Once I was happy with the result, I took the second largest Imperial Stitched Rectangles die and cut out my card background.

I stamped the images from the Purrfect Day stamp using Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored them with Copic markers in the following colors.

I added highlights with a white gel pen and then I cut out all the images using their coordinating dies.

For the sentiment, I ink blended a small strip of cardstock using Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick and then I stamped the sentiment from the Purrfect Day stamp using Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink.

I used Heffy Doodle deep foam tape to place the background over a white card base and I finished the card by added all the images and sentiment in place using foam squares.
