Stencilled background cards

Hello everyone!

Sindhu here. I hope you are all doing great.

Today, I have two cards to share.  I let the stencils shine on both the cards. 🙂

Here is my first card-

I used the Numicon stencil,  Teach me words and Teacher’s pet stamp sets.

First, I dry embossed the background using the stencil and without shifting it, sponged three different Distress Inks for an ombre look. After letting it dry completely, I again put back the stencil, smooshed some Versamark watermark ink and heat embossed with clear sparkle embossing powder. Finished the card by layering vellum and adhering the image and sentiment strip.

For my next card, I used the Bubble waves stencil, Oceans of love and Shellabrate stamp sets.

I followed the same steps for this card too except I didn’t heat emboss using the sparkle embossing powder. I was happy with the dry embossed and inked background.

I stamped the sentiment which is from Lawn Fawn and adhered the images. I used a foam tape to adhere the panel to the card base.

Here are some close-ups.

I hope you like the cards.

Have a good week.

Hugs..

Sindhu.
