Slimline Doggies

Hello hello!  I hope you’re all doing super wonderful!  I’m excited to share another Cardmaking 101 with you today!  This one features the stamp set Who Let the Dogs Out, which is one of my fav sets from this last release!

I’m starting with the Green Fields Stencil, the Slimline Pull Tab Dies, and the Stitched Slimline Trio Dies.  I’m using the largest of the Stitched Slimline Trio Dies to die cut a piece of Banana Split cardstock.  I’m using the scalloped die from the Slimline Pull Tab Dies to die cut a piece of white cardstock.  On this piece of white cardstock, I’m blending some hills using the Green Fields Stencil and Scattered Straw Distress Ink.

Now, I’m ready to do my stamping, coloring, and die cutting!  I’m stamping images from the Who Let the Dogs Out stamp set.  I stamp my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink because it’s an alcohol-friendly ink pad that won’t bleed when using Copic markers.  Once all my coloring is complete, I am ready to use the Who Let the Dogs Out Coordinating Dies to cut my images.  I like to use Purple Tape to keep my dies in place while I run them through the machine.

On the bottom of the card, I stamped a sentiment and a few paw prints from the Who Let the Dogs Out stamp set.  The final step is using 3D foam adhesive to adhere all of my stamped images!

Thank you so much for stopping by the Heffy Doodle blog!  I hope you enjoyed this sunny card!  Xoxo, Amanda
