Shaker Yappy Happy Mail
Hey Heffy friends! How are we doing today!? Do you LOVE making a shaker card? I certainly do! It’s so much fun to send (and, of course, receive)! Today, I’m sharing this interactive card using the Absotoothly Awesome and Yappy Happy Mail Stamp Sets. Of course, the best way to make a shaker card is to use the Scalloped Imperial Frame Dies, so I’ll be using those as well!
Let’s get started! Our first step is to cut the largest of the Scalloped Imperial Frame Dies. Next, let’s stamp our cuties from the Absotoothly Awesome and Yappy Happy Mail Stamp Sets with alcohol-friendly black ink. Let’s color those images in and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
Let’s have a little fun with our background! I’m grabbing my Head in the Clouds Stencil and some Maker Forte Marshmallow Paste. I’m going to use Icy Mist ink and blend a light blue background and then place my stencil on top. Using a spatula, I’ve applied Marshmallow Paste through the stencil. The last step is to make those clouds fluffy! This paste will puff up when it’s hit with a heat tool.
Now, we’re all set to assemble the card! I’ve placed an acetate sheet on my frame using thin double sided tape. Now, I’m adding Deep Foam Tape all the way around the frame to hold my shakers inside the card. This tape is extra deep, so it’s perfect for allowing my shakers to move around inside my card, even with those puffy clouds! I’ve glued my sky to my card base and have added my shakers. Now, I can just place my frame on top and use 3D foam squares to adhere my stamped images and sentiments to the front of the acetate!

Love love love those little cute faces on the pup and the fairy! Plus, I love how the mailbox has a slit cut out in it from the coordinating die so I can still the mail right in there!
