Sending You High Koality Hugs

Hello crafty friends! Have you seen the amazing new products from the NEW RELEASE? Make sure to check them out here! Today, I’m sharing a fun shaker card featuring the brand new Koality Hugs stamp set and Stitched Birthday Trio Frame Dies. 

To start, I stamped all the images from the Koality Hugs using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies. Next, I took two pieces of a white card stock and ink blended Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, Salvaged Patina and Squeezed Lemonade. For the front panel, I took one of the card stock and cut it using the Stitched Birthday Trio Frame Die. I then cut one of the bar out to make a larger scene. I used the other piece of card stock for the back panel. 

Now that I have my front and back panel ready, I can go ahead and create the shaker portion of the card. I adhered a piece of acetate sheet to my front panel using double sided tape and then adhered the 3mm deep foam tape. I filled it with the shaker elements and then attached my back panel to my front panel. (I highly recommend using this Heffy Doodle 3mm deep foam tape because the thickness is perfect for shaker cards, it really is a game-changer).

I heat-embossed the sentiments on a red card stock using white embossing powder.  Finally, I adhered all the images and sentiments using double sided tape.
