Sending Hugs From Across The Pond

Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another card with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series! Have you seen all the amazing products from the new release?? I am absolutely in love with all the fun goodies from this release. Today, I’m sharing a fun interactive card using the Brooke 3D Box Card Dies from the new release and combined it with these adorable frogs from the Be Hoppy stamp set. Now, let’s get started!

First, I stamped the images from Be Hoppy and Quack Me Up stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. I cut a white card stock using the Brooke 3D Box Card Dies and I ink blended  Distress Oxide  Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin,  Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade for the background. I then splattered it using gold watercolor paint. For the sides and inside panel, I ink blended Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. 

To help me build the scene, I took a white card stock and cut it using the Build A Pond Dies to create a pond. I ink blended it using Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina. I also added vines to the background panel. 

I heat embossed the sentiment from Be Hoppy onto the front panel and assembled all the panels together. Finally, I adhered all the images using Glubert craft glue. I love this interactive box card and the best part is the card will fold flat to fit perfectly inside an A2 envelope.
