Sending Happy Mail

Hey there!

Welcome back to the Heffy Doodle blog!

Today’s card was super fun to make so let’s get right down to it!

I stamped some images from the Yappy Happy Mail set in a copic safe ink and then die cut them with the matching dies and colored them with my copics. I set the images aside and then worked on the background.

I cut a piece of watercolor paper down to 4.25 x 5.5 inches and then applied clean water with a paintbrush. I dropped in some Distress Oxide reinkers on to the panel and then just let the water do the work! I used my heat gun to dry the panel and then glued it on to a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base.

I then cut another card panel down and then used a stitched circle die to cut several circle windows from the card panel. I put foam tape on the back of the circle window panel and then adhered the window panel on to the card base.

Then I adhered my die cut images on to the card and stamped the “sending” sentiment on to the card. I cut a black strip of paper and white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment and glued it on to the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy crafting!
