Polaroid Honey Bunny Boo

Hello and Happy Monday everyone! Maria here showing you a new project featuring the awesome stamps and dies from Release 3.

Have you picked a favorite yet? When I was a kid we went to poland for the holidays to visit my mom´s family and one day we met a life size Mickey Mouse and my parents took a polaroid picture,  that was treasured a long time. Thinking of this memory I got the idea for the card I want to share with you today.

For the base of the card I used some whisperwhite cardstock and topped it with a dicutted stitched panel of very pretty designer series paper (I love all kind of blues)

Atter that I worked on the polaroid.  I diecut a frame from white paper and sponged the backgroundpanel that was diecut from the frame .

The cute little bunnies are from the Honey Bunny Boo stampset. I stamped them in Tuxedo Black  Memento  and colored them using alcohol markers. After diecutting them with the coordinating dies, I added some white highlights using a gelpen to give it a bit more dimention. Then I tucked them into the frame and let their paws and ears get out of the frame. I think that gives it a special little something.

For the sentiment I diecut two little stitched speechbubbles from the Whatcha Sayin´die set and stamped the coordinating `HELLO MY FRIEND` from the Whatcha Sayin´stampset on one of them, before glueing them together so that both of the bunnies will say it to one another or to the recipient. For a little more depth I sponged the edges of the speechbubble and popped it up on a foam dot.

One of the great products of the new release are the standalone word dies that the amazing Lesley  handlettered and made into dies. How cool is that, right? She is a crafting hero.

For my card I picked the Hey die and diecut it from some teal cardstock and then sponged the bottom half with teal ink to give it an ombre effect.  For more dimention I also added some white details here and I think I will do that more often in the future.

As every card also needs bling I added some teal colored sequins to give the card a finishing touch.

There you have it…my Polaroid Bunnies!!!

Have a wonderful and crafty week!!

Happy Crafting!!

Maria 🙂
