Perfect Combos – First tooth out

Hello Everyone,

It is Zsofi here, welcome to another edition of my Perfect Combos series. I believe that every little milestone in our lives should be recognized and celebrated, and losing the first milk tooth is just as important in a child’s life as a birthday. For this cheerful event I created a memory card featuring the super cute Absotoothly awesome stamp set with some  very versatile dies and the Simply radiant stencil (one of my favourites of all). Let’s dive in the details!

I stamped and coloured the two fairies with their magic wands using Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. While I was at die cutting I also cut the Tooth plush die 2 times from white cardstock. I layered them on top of each other for a sturdier look. The eyes and mouth I cut from coloured cardstock scraps and adhered them to the big tooth. So cute!

The background I created directly on a top folding A2 sized white card base. I sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink all over and then using the Simply Radiant stencil I added the first layer with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. Then I turned the stencil a bit and added a second layer with Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink. When I removed the stencil I just kept smiling, it looks gorgeous!

To make the tooth the focal point of the card I added a double layer vellum circle and a Skinny circle frame cut from blue violet cardstock. Then I adhered every element in place using drops of liquid glue or thin 3D foam squares.

The sentiment I white heat embossed from the Roundabout sentiments set on a Curved banner cut from blue cardstock. I stamped a small sentiment under the banner in black, it is from the More classic sentiments set.

I finished this cute card with a touch of clear shimmer on the wings of the fairies and a bunch of 3mm clear sequins from Studio Katia. Isn’t it the perfect way to keep a memory?

I hope you enjoyed today’s Perfect Combo and will check back later for more inspiration. If you like my cards, please make sure to follow me on Instagram where I share my happy creations! Thank you!

See you soon,

Zsofi
