Peek-a-Boo Tree Shadow Box Card

Hey Heffy friends!  Today I’m super pumped to share this card I made!

To make this card, I’m starting with the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Die and the Wood Grain Texture Background Die.  This will create my tree that I can color.  I’m leaving a couple inches of extra cardstock at the bottom to help with supporting the tree.  I’m also cutting the Big Shadow Box Die.  I’m cutting one of the panels in half to make 2 panels.  On the front panel, I’m cutting out a rectangle with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Now, I’m ready to start inking up my trees!  I’m using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide for all my cuts.

For my grass, I’m using the tree leaves that come with the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Dies and blending Hyde Park Color Hive Ink on them.

On a piece of white cardstock, I’m blending Red Leicester, English Mustard, and Hyde Park Color Hive Inks and then using the leaves from the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Dies.

I’m also using the tree leaves to create a base for my leaves to be glued to.

For my stamped images, I am using Deer to Me, Nuts About You, and Mole Lotta Love.  I’m stamping them with Copic-friendly ink.

Now I am ready to color my images with Copic markers and die cut my colored images!

The last step is to assemble my card!  I am using liquid glue and 3D foam squares to keep everything together!

Here are a few close-ups of the finished project!

Thank you so much for stopping by the Heffy Doodle blog today!

Xx, Amanda
