Let’s HANG OUT soon
Hi crafty friends, Lien again. I am back with my second card as a guest designer for April. Spring is here in Belgium and nature is so beautiful and vibrant right now. So I wanted to create a really colorful and fun card this time. In today’s card, I am featuring the Chimply The Best stamp set… can it be more fun than chimps hanging all over your card?
I started by coloring several images from the Chimply The Best stamp set using my Copic Markers. Once all of them were colored, I used the matching dies to cut them out. I created a slimline panel using the Stitched Slimline Trio Dies. With a thin sized washi tape, I masked off stripes on the background. I used Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron distress inks to get this bright green background.
For the sentiment, I decided to highlight part of an existing sentiment by using the Stitched Alphabetters Dies. I cut out “hang out” from yellow card stock. With all the elements finished, I first added the rest of the sentiment “Let’s … soon” to the slimline panel and next I added everything together on a slimline card base.
