I miss you and love you so fairy much!

Hi everyone, Jane here today and I’m so excited to be guest designing for Heffy Doodle this month!  You may know me as Papercraft4fun on Instagram or Facebook.  I absolutely love bright cheery colors and using new techniques for my cards.  Today, I’ve got two colorful fairy cards for you!

To start, I created a background using watercolor paper and a rainbow assortment of watercolors.  After the panel was dry, I applied glitter gel to the twinkle twinkle stencil.  Then, I set aside the panel to dry overnight.  The fairy from absotoothly awesome set was stamped using copic friendly black ink and colored using the following copic colors: R17, R14, R22 and R20 (dress and cheeks), E51, E30, E000 (face and body), E31, E34, E37 (hair).  I cut the fairy image using the coordinating die set.

Next, I created a shaker by using an A2 size piece of acetate and using a stitched frame die I had in my stash.  The panel was stamped from a sentiment from the absotoothly awesome stamp set using stazOn black ink.  Next, I used double foam tape to line the shaker and added iridescent confetti and sequins for sparkle!

Once everything was in place, I glued my fairy to the front of the shaker and added a few white accents using a white paint pen.  The panel was then attached to an A2 card base and that completes the card!

My next card also features a watercolored background but this one is more valentine themed with purple and pink tones.  The watercolored panel measures 5 inches (12.7cm) square and the white card base measures 5.5 inches (about 14cm) square.  The images from absotoothly awesome stamp set were stamped using copic friendly ink and colored using the following copics:  YR31, Y26, YR27, E33, E17, E09 (hair), B0000, B000 (wings), E51, E30, E000 (fair and body), RV66, V05, RV63 RV00, RV09, RV06, RV04, RV02 (clothing, shoes, wands).

The images were cut using the coordinating die set and adhered using foam tape. Then, I added a bit of ink to a foam dauber and added a few accents using the twinkle twinkle stencil.  Sentiment is from the absotoothly awesome stamp set and coordinating die set.  I added a few white gel pen accents to my fairies along with some iridescent glitter glue to the stenciled areas for extra sparkle!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I’m so excited to be sharing more with you this month!  Happy crafting!
