I Miss Our Chats — Quick and Simple Card

Hello, all! I’m sharing a quick and easy card that is too cute! I used some of my favorite Heffy Doodle stamps for this fun design. Let’s jump right in.

The first step I took for this card was to take the speech bubble from Whatcha Sayin’ Now and stamped it all over an A2 size card base with a light mint colored ink. I did my best to space them out somewhat evenly so that it looked like pattern paper. The trick is to make sure that some of the bubbles are over the edge. This makes the pattern look continuous.

Next I stamped out a bird from the Wingman stamp set with a Copic friendly ink and colored him in. I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the card base with foam tape. The final step was to heat emboss my sentiment. I used Worn Lipstick to color some white paper with and made sure it was completely dry before embossing the sentiment over it. Once that was done I trimmed it down and adhered it with foam tape as well.

Finally, I added white gel pen accents and used a Copic marker to add some dots in the background. And that was it! I hope you enjoyed my quick and simple card for today. I love putting these types of cards together. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll see you again soon with another card!
