Herd it was Your Birthday! Mix and Match with Amanda

Well, hey there Heffy Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! My week is .. because I get to share this Shadow Box card with you! 🙂 I love creating interactive cards like this! Read on to see how I put this card together!

First, we’re going to start by creating the card base using the Big Shadow Box Die. After cutting my shadowbox, I am going to run the pieces through the die cutting machine with my Woodgrain Texture Background Die. Once I get them ink blended with red ink, I can adhere the pieces together using double sided tape. For my straw/hay on the inside, I’m using the foliage die from the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Tree Die.

I’m also going to add some windows to the side of my shadowbox. To create these barn windows, I’m using the Boats and Barns Dies.

For my stamped images, I’m using the Farmyard Fun Stamp Set and the Udderly Fabulous Stamp Set. I’m going to color them with Copic markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I’m attaching them to my shadowbox using liquid glue.

I love that these shadowbox cards can be folded down to fit into an A2 sized envelope!

Well friends, that’s it for me today! I hope you enjoyed this blog post and come back for some more inspiration soon! Xx, Amanda
