Hello friends! It’s Ashley with a fun jungle scene for you all today, complete with some adorable monkey friends!

I started this card by using the Fancy Foliage stencil on super light green cardstock with Distress Oxide inks in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I thought the tiny leaves would help with a dense jungle feel. If you have Pixie Spray, I highly recommend using it with this stencil – it really helps hold the stencil securely while you blend into all those tiny spaces! I cut my stenciled piece down with one of the Imperial Stitched Rectangle dies. I stamped my large sentiment from Big Bold Words in Versamark ink in the center of my card and embossed with white. Then I repeated the process to ensure solid embossed words.

I blended more Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn onto a new piece of light green cardstock in random patches. I then used this piece to cut leaves and bushes with the Amazonian Leaves and Forest Builder dies. I also cut a border using one of the Grassy Lass dies and added some Mowed Lawn to the edges. I added the bushes and leaves around the edges and trimmed the excess off with my scissors. I adhered my background to a Wintergreen card base.

I stamped my images from Chimply the Best in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored with Copics. I cut everything out using the matching dies, then added a few white gel pen highlights. I glued the images onto my card front, popping a few up with foam tape for some dimension.
