Hello Fall

Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another card with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. Fall is finally here, YAY!! It’s my favorite season of the year and today I’m sharing a fun interative fall theme card featuring these adorable critters from the Deer To Me and Nuts About You stamp sets.

First, I started by creating the background panel. I took a white card stock and ink blended Distress Oxide Carved Pumpkin, Dried Marigold and Squeezed Lemonade. I then spattered it with gold watercolor paint. 

To help me build the scene, I die-cut a white card stock using the tree trunk die from the Tree-mendous Peekaboo Tree Dies. I inked Distress Oxide Walnut Stain and Brushed Corduroy. I then cut it using the peekaboo lift-the-flap die to create fun interactive element. I also die-cut a white card stock using the large leaf canopy die and ink blended Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin, Dried Marigold and Twisted Citron.

I stamped the images from the Deer to Me and Nuts About You stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Deer To Me stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. 

Next, I die-cut a white card stock using the landscape border from the Slimline Scenery Dies and ink blended Distress Oxide Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn. Finally, I adhered all the images using Glubert craft glue and popped a few up using the deep foam tape for some dimensions. For the finishing touch, I added some enamel dots-fright night.
