Have A Mammoth Day!

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the Heffy Doodle blog 🙂 It’s Cassie here, and today I’m sharing a cute birthday card showcasing some sweet new release products. I just love how these products go so well together. It makes it so easy to put a card together! Let’s take a look!

Today’s card is pretty a pretty simple design, but it still has a lot of fun elements. I started by die cutting the largest rectangle from the Imperial Stitched Rectangle Dies from some gray cardstock. Next I used the Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide inks with the Stoney Maloney stencil to create this pretty background for my birthday party scene. I only used the Frayed Burlap around the outer edges to make a highlight in the center.

Next I stamped out images from the Dino Time, Prehistoric Pals, Dinky Dinos, Party Palooza, Happy Snappy Crocs, and Elephant of Surprise stamp sets. Like I said, the images all go so well together that it’s fun to pull from many stamp sets to get just the look you’re going for! All the images were colored in with Copic markers and die cut with coordinating dies. I arranged them on the card onale and adhered them down with adhesive. Some of them I popped up with foam tape for a little added dimension.

For my sentiment I stamped the ‘have a mammoth day’ saying onto some black card stock and heat embossed gold embossing powder over it. Then I used the Stripes of Ease dies to cut it out and adhered it to my card. To add some finishing touches, I added some white gel pen accents. And that was it for my card today! If you like the Dinky Dinos stamp set be sure to check out the promo going on to get them added to your order!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you liked today’s card. I’ll see you again soon with another one!

The spots in the background are such a cute idea. My grandson LOVES dinosaurs, so this idea is perfect for me. He’s almost 4. Thanks!
