Happy St.Patrick´s Day!!!

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by today!!!

Maria here with a St.Patrick´s day card as St. Patrick´s day is on saturday march 17th.  The amazing owner of Heffy Doodle Lesley is actually irish and so she created this very cute stampset called Lucky friends featuring lots of shamrocks, leprechauns, goldcoins and so on.

So here is my card that I created using the set and the coordinating dies.

I took a white cardbase and layered a diecut panel from the new awesome Lawnfawn rainbow paper on it as a rainbow and a leprechaun simply belomg together if you ask me. After that I cut another white panel using the same die and used a stitched cloud die to get a diagonal panel piece with nice stitching. Before adhering it on top of the designer paper I diecut two different sized stitched inside out circles from the white panels to build a frame for my little leprechaun and his little bag of gold.

 

After that I stamped and and diecut the the leprechaun and the little bag from the Lucky Friends set and colored them with alcohol markers and added some white details using a gel pen. I popped them up on foamdots and centered them into the two stitched circles.

I also gave the little leprechaun some golden coins/flakes in his hands to shower down the cloud all over the card. I love the look of the leprechaun sitting in the circle throwing gold arround.

I also adhered a ton of more little golden coins on the down half of the card. I just put random dots of glue all arround the bottom and sprinkled the golden flakes on top. Done Deal!!

For the sentiment I diecut a Happy from golden foil and stamped ST.Patrick´s day in black under it. It goes so well with the golden flakes. I just love all the sparkle of this card.
