Hello everyone! It’s Jessica here with a bright and cheery birthday card featuring Happy Snappy Crocs, Ad-roar-able Lions and Unbearable Without You. My nephew is turning 4 and I thought he would love a little Heffy Doodle Party!
I recently reorganized my craft area and found a few stamp sets that had been lost in the mix, one of them had a really cool cityscape that was perfect for this card! To create the background, I started by stamping with Versamark ink on watercolor paper and heat set with white embossing powder. All that’s left is adding color for the sky and buildings. I trimmed down the scene with a scalloped rectangle die and adhered the thinner water color paper to a second layer of 110lb card stock.
Next, I stamped each image on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink and quickly made sure everything was dry with my heat tool. For a vibrant look, I paired Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers.
To finish off the card I die cut each image with coordinating dies, added a stamped sentiment and adhered to an A2 sized card base with pattern paper.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
