Happy Retirement Corgi

Good morning! Heather here to share a simple, bright, happy, and fun retirement card with you featuring some of the brand new release that is available to pre-order NOW! So much fun and so many must have sets in this release! Today’s card pairs up a couple of different stamp sets for a fun and quirky retirement card!

I have fallen in love with ink blended backgrounds, and now when I’m bored I find myself creating ones to keep and hand to have ready in advance for cardmaking! It is coming incredibly in handy – and it’s so fun to play with different color combinations as well! This one is a mix of Tattered Rose, Shabby Shutters, and Weathered Wood – so soft and pretty! I also added a splash of sparkle with my Starry Colors Palette.

Next, I stamped the cute corgi and crown from the new Oh Crumbs stamp set, colored them with copics, then cut them out and layered them together, adding a touch of Glossy Accents on the crown, nose, and tongue. I die cut a rectangle from my inked panel using Imperial Stitched Rectangles, and popped it up on foam on a white cardbase, attaching the outer part directly on the card as a frame of sorts. Before attaching the center panel down, I stamped my sentiment from Special Day Sentiment Duo and tied some twine around that panel, mounting my cute pup with foam adhesive as well.

This photo best shows the lovely sparkle and shine from the background splatters – as well as the gloss on the crown, nose, and tongue!

Don’t forget about the pre-order special – these little Rescue Dogs are ADORABLE!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by – have a wonderful day!
