Happy Birds! Mix and Match

Hey friends and HAPPY MONDAY! It’s almost Valentine’s Day so I wanted to share a fun LOVE card with you! If you’re not following me on Instagram, you can find me @craftyandcreativevibes.

To create this valentine, I started by ink blending a panel of cardstock that I ran through the die cutting machine with the Stitched Hearts Background Cover Die. I ink blended Catherine Pooler’s Rose Petals, It’s a Girl, and Buttercream inks on the panel and then glued to my white A2 sized card base.

Next up, I stamped my images from the Eggcellent News and Quack Me Up stamp sets. I colored the adorable stamps with OLO alcohol markers and then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For my sentiments, I really wanted them to stand out! So, I used the More Classic Sentiments stamp set and stamped them with the WOW! Embossing Glue Pad. Then, I sprinkled white embossing powder over the glue. I melted the embossing powder with my heat tool. I trimmed them down into strips of the same size.

The final step is to adhere everything to my card base! I used 3D foam squares and strips to prop everything up to give the card more depth!
