Gift Card Holder Tag for 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hey everyone! It’s Laura here and today I am putting my Scene Building series on hold as, together with the rest of the Heffy Doodle Team, I am taking part in Tracey McNeely’s 25 days of Christmas Tags! This is the 8th edition and Heffy Doodle is a proud sponsor of this very fun event! Make sure to visit Tracey’s blog for more details and to join in and read this post until the end for more inspiration from the Design Team!

For my tag today I used images from the Santa’s Village stamp set, that I colored with my Illustrator makers and die cut with the coordinating dies.
For the tag itself I used the Heart Gift Card Pocket die. I die cut some Heffy Doodle Cherry on Top cardstock and added some golden stars to my tag using the Heffy Doodle Starfall Stencil and gold embossing powder.

In order to create an element to hang my tag, I used the heart frame die in the  Heart Gift Card Pocket set. I die cut some more Cherry on Top cardstock, I coated it with multiple layers of embossing powder and I glued it to the back of my tag. You can see the result in the picture below. Isn’t it cute?

I stamped the sentiment from the Whatcha Saying Now stamp set on some white cardstock and I finished off the card by adding some highlights with a gold Gelly Roll pen.

And that’s my tag for today! The design team has also been busy creating beautiful tags for the 25 days of Christmas tags! You can find an overview of the projects below and all the details on each designer’s blog!

Amanda created a lovely and merry scene with the Santa’s Village and the Wanna Build a Snowman stamp sets.

Mindy is sharing a beautiful tag with the Wanna Build a Snowman stamp set and Copic markers. Talk about coloring skills!

Cassie used the Mewniverse stamp set on her fun tags! The addition of the hat from the Wanna Build a Snowman stamp set is a great touch!

Tallie put together this super sweet scene with the Santa’s Village stamp set!

The Santa’s Village stamp set was also used by Cassie on this slimline tag, created with the Mark My Word dies.

Jenn made a bunch of super fun tags with the Santa’s Village and Wanna Build a Snoman sets, and she has a video, too!

Mona created two cute shaker tags with the Absotoothly Awesome stamp set!

Koren created a gorgeous winter wonderland on her tag featuring the Wanna Build a Snowman stamp set!

Last but not least, Olga used the Hello Squeakheart stamp set on this really creative tag!

I really hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration from the team! Before I go, here is a list of supplies I used to create my tag today! Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!
