Hello Heffy Doodlers! It’s Jessica M. here and today I’m thinking ahead to May featuring Geology Rocks! In the US and Canada we celebrate Mother’s Day on May 13th but I think this card would work all year round.
I started by creating the card front and die cut an A2 sized stitched rectangle with Neenah Solar White 110LB card stock. To set the scene, I die cut a large heart with grey shimmering card stock and heat set jewel images with white embossing powder. For the centre of the heart, I added a stitched circle and stamped “MOM” from my stash masking the “O” and placed the heart jewel in the centre. I added a sentiment strip using black card stock and white embossing powder for a pop of contrast.
To embellish the card front, I stamped various jewel images on watercolor paper and colored using Spectrum Noir Aqua Tint pens, for a little dimension I used 3D foam tape. To finish off the card I added Glossy Accents to the heart jewel, sequins and a little shine with using my Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay pen.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
