Fun-filled Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends! It’s Lidya here and I’m so happy to share another card with you in my Let’s Mix It Up series. I’m sharing a fun-filled birthday card featuring these adorable monkeys from the Chimply The Best stamp set.

To start, I cut an A2 sized white card stock, used the UnbeLEAFable Stencil and inked Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina, Squeezed Lemonade and Cracked Pistachio. I then splattered it with white acrylic paint and gold watercolor paint.

Next, I stamped all the images from the Popping By and Chimply The Best stamp sets using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic markers and cut them using the coordinating dies.

I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Chimply The Best stamp set on a black card stock using white embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered all the images and sentiment together using Glubert craft glue and popped a few up using the 3mm foam tape for some dimension. To finish off the card, I adhered the front panel to a black card stock and an orange card stock for interest.
