Fairytale Wedding
Hello crafters, Tallie here! I have a magical wedding card for you today with a scene I’m sure every little girl dreams of at some point! Along with some older products, I used two of the new sets: Happily Ever Crafter and the not yet released but free with £30 purchase Hay There. It’s a slightly bigger card than I normally make (8×3.5 in) but I needed the real estate to fit the scene on!
I started out by stamping out all the pieces of the scene using some Copic-friendly Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto some blending cardstock. I used my Copic markers to colour in the scene, sticking to a more Cinderella inspired colour scheme of teal, gold and grey. I really had some fun with this scene, practicing my hair flicking and adding fine details to the bricks on the castle. Once finished, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.
To create the magical scene, I used some Distress Oxide inks in Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Faded Jeans to create the gradient sky, blending on some white pigment ink over the Starfall stencil to add that magical touch!
The grassy hill was created using some Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks, cut with the Stitched Slopey Joe Border dies.
I white heat embossed the sentiment onto the sky background, fitting together several of the smaller sentiments from the Happily Ever Crafter set. I arranged the scene, adding some foam tape and some clear Wink of Stella for some added magical sparkle here and there.
Thanks for reading and happy crafting!
