Crafty Friend by Isha Gupta
Today, I have a fun card using wonderful dies and a stencil. I am sharing how to stamp using the stencil and what kind of effect you would get 🙂
Hello Heffy Doodlers! Isha here with you today. I am sharing a fun technique with you today using the “Circles of Life” stencil along with the word dies “Crafty“, “Friend” and “Strips of Ease” , this makes a perfect card for us crafty people 🙂
To start with the technique piece, I cut a mat layer, and sponged some distress ink to it. I then spritz the stencil with water and placed the stencil (water side down) onto the sponged panel. Remove the stencil and dab the panel using a kitchen towel. The water will react with distress inks and will leave you with a beautiful effect.
I then die-cut the words using white cardstock. Cut a piece of vellum and adhere the words to it. Adhere this panel to the technique piece. Adhere this panel to the cardbase.
I then stamped and embossed the sentiment. Sponged the same ink to it so it matches the color of the card. I then used the Strip of Ease die to cut the sentiment. This sure is a must have die for those who like to add the sentiment in stripe form to their creations 🙂
To finish, I added some sequins.
Hope you enjoyed the card. Happy crafting!
