Celebrate into the new year!
Hey Crafty Friends, it’s Jasmin here from Jasmin Crafty Makes. Whilst Christmas is nearly upon us I’m looking forward to the new year! I never make enough cards to send out over the holidays so if your like me and still want to touch base with friends or family after the main event why not send them a celebratory card for the new year instead?
To recreate this card you need just a few supplies:
- Stitched Triangle Tree Dies
- Slimline Pull Tab Dies
- Stitched Slimline Trio Dies
- Birthday Number Dies
- Metallic Gold Rich WOW embossing powder
- Versamark Clear Embossing Ink Pad
- Oreo Crunch Cardstock
- Bright White Cardstock
- Glitter Cardstock from your stash
- Pumpkin Spice Sparkle Mix
- Double sided tape
- Adhesive Glue – Glubert
Start with a slimline card base cut from Oreo Crunch cardstock. This measures 8.5″ x 7″ scored at 3.5″. Next cut the slimline scalloped die from white cardstock and swipe clear embossing ink around the edges. Cover in gold embossing powder and use a heat gun to solidify the powder.
From Oreo Crunch cardstock die cut a stitched slimline die and adhere on top of your scalloped slimline panel. Adhere all this to your card base too.
From glitter cardstock die cut the Birthday Number dies including the balloon tabs. Follow this with 9 triangles cut from white cardstock using the Stitched Triangle Tree dies. Emboss all triangles with the Gold embossing powder to match your scalloped panel.
Adhere everything onto your card with adhesive glue and finish up with some sparkle using the Pumpkin Spice Sparkle Mix.
