Thanks for stopping by the blog today for this super fun and simple Mother’s Day card!
Let’s get right to it!
I stamped a few of the images from the Best in the Mewniverse stamp set on to white cardstock with copic-safe ink. I colored them with my copics and then used a stitched circle die to cut the tiny “scene” out.
I created an alcohol ink panel and trimmed it down a bit before gluing it on a cut and scored 4.25 x 5.5 in. card base. I used a strip of washi tape to create a finished edge between the alcohol ink panel and the card base and then mounted the circle scene with foam tape and adhered it on to the card.
I used a black ink pen and wrote out the word “mom” underneath the little kitty scene and then finished off the card by stamping out the sentiment from the Mewniverse stamp set.
We’re celebrating Mother’s Day here in the US on Sunday, so I’m looking forward to surprising my wonderful mom with this card that’s sure to make her smile!
Thanks again for stopping by today!
