Best ever teacher!
Hey there Heffy friends! It’s DT Ashlee here today and I’ve got a new shaker card to share with you that is perfect to gift to a special teacher to say thank you!
All those teachers work super hard teaching our little ones and they totally deserve a spoil….
I used these Heffy Doodle products for this card…..
To create this card I started with a piece of light grey card stock which I added stencilling too using the Numicon stencil. I then die cut the window using the fancy Nancy frame die ready to make into a shaker. Before assembling the shaker portion I stamped the sentiment BEST EVER TEACHER on to the card base using Memento tuxedo black ink.
Using acetate, adhesive and foam tape I assembled the shaker portion and guess what it’s time to BRING ON THE BLING! I filled the shaker with a whole bunch of beautiful frozen fractal sequins then backed it with a piece of green card stock sealing all the sequins into the shaker.
I wanted to add a sub sentiment to the card so I die cut a stitched strips of ease from the same coloured green card stock that I’d backed the shaker in and embossed the sentiment thankyou for all your hard work using WOW! opaque bright white embossing powder. I adhered that in place using foam tape….
I stamped, coloured and die cut a selection of images from the teacher pet stamp set and then adhered them all in place creating a sweet little teacher/student scene! These were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers.
To complete the card I added two more little sequins and it was ready!
