Beary Cute Bookmarks

Hello Heffy Doodlers, It’s Jessica here sharing these super cute bookmarks featuring the Unbearable Without You stamp set! I was inspired to create these after taking part in the Knapsack Project, my son and I sponsored two children and picked out back to school gear so they’re all ready for class.  A friend of mine is a superstar and put together 12 Knapsacks in total and of course I had to make sure there was enough bookmarks for everyone!

I started by creating each bookmark using an Avery Elle die with water color paper, I love the stitched detail! For the background I created my own stencil by stamping three clouds on masking paper and cutting them out. I placed the clouds where I thought they looked best and ink blended using Distress and Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick & Mowed Lawn).

Next I stamped each image and colored them using my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers, once everything was dry I ran through my die cutting machine using the coordinating dies. I love to mix and match my sets and happen to have a few extra class themed stamps that paired perfectly. For a little dimension, I added 3D foam squares to the bear, added polka dot ribbon and a few clear sequins to finish everything off.
