An Elephantastic Birthday Card with Jessica

Hello everyone! It’s Jessica here sharing a fun birthday card featuring the cutest Ellie ever from Elephant of Surprise.

First I started by stamping and coloring each image with alcohol markers and added a layer of shine with my Clear Overlay Sparkle marker. Next it’s on to the fun part- the slider element, luckily I had the perfect die in my stash which made it super easy! To ensure the balloon slides with ease I doubled up on the foam squares and used a penny to anchor the image.

I love lots of little details that give that perfect “finished” look, for this card I used Glossy Accents and Diamond Stickles by Ranger. To complete the background I pulled out my Distress Inks and blended away, adding the “Birthday” sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Clear Embossing powder.

I paired this sweet birthday scene with coordinating pattern paper and added a few signature sequins, I think it’s all set for my nephew’s first birthday next month!
