I started by die cutting two rectangles using white card stock and pattern paper. For the top layer, I placed the largest flap die from my stash and the pull strip from Clover frames and ran it through my die cutting machine. I wanted to add a splash of color to the card front and die cut the flap a second time on pattern paper.
Next, I stamped each image using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in the bunny and Easter eggs using Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.
Now it’s time to get inky! I added the “Pull Here”, “Lift Me” and “I’m An Interactive Card” with coordinating ink colors.
For the main sentiments, I heat set white embossing powder on black and pink card stock. I LOVE that the recipient will have not one but TWO surprises.
To finish off the card, I added a strip from Stitched Stripes of Ease, the solid tiny butterfly in various colors and a few clear sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
