Alcohol Ink Valentine Card with Isha Gupta

Hello Heffy Doodlers, Isha here today with a fun Valentine day card using alcohol inks, embossing and masking techniques. I used various products for this card. Let’s start.

I started by taking a white mat layer. I masked the edges using post it pad and applied salty ocean distress ink to create the sky. Next I used mowed lawn distress ink and created the grass using the Green Fields Stencil. Adhere this piece to the Bubblegum Blush cardstock. Stamp the images from the Farmyard Fun stamp set onto alcohol friendly cardstock. Color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Stamp the hearts.

Next I used Yupo paper and added some red, orange and gold alcohol inks. Apply WOW! Gold foil for some gold accents. Emboss this piece from the back side using the Quilted Heart Background die. Rub the front using a fine sandpaper. The embossed area will become subtle white and it gives a beautiful texture.

Die-cut this piece using the You’re So Sweet Jumbo sentiment die. Adhere the sentiment and the images to the card using foam tape.

Apply nuvo crystal glaze to the sentiment and the hearts for a beautiful shine.
