Absotoothly Awesome!

Hello, crafters! I’m back again today with with a fairy-themed appreciation card. What better way to say thank you than with a pun and a couple of tooth fairies? This card uses several products from the latest release: Absotoothly Awesome stamps and coordinating dies, Silver Linings Cloud Border Dies, Twinkle Twinkle Stencil, Spaced Out stamp set and coordinating dies.

I started off by ink blending the background using some Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide inks. After heat setting, I stencilled over the twinkle stars using the Twinkle Twinkle stencil and some Lawn Fawn Yeti White Pigment ink.

Whilst the background panel was drying, I stamped out two of the fairies, wands, bags and a handful of teeth from the Absotoothly Awesome stamp set and several of the stars from the Spaced Out stamp set. I coloured them in with my Copic markers, sticking to RVs, Vs, Ws and Ys to fit in with the background, using the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I cut two cloud pieces from some white cardstock using the Silver Linings Cloud Border Dies, stamping the awesomely punny sentiment from the Absotoothly Awesome stamp set in some Lawn Fawn Grape Jelly ink. I adhered these to the bottom of the background panel, popping the front one up with some foam tape.

I adhered the fairies and teeth on the background into a mini scene as if the fairies were dropping off their loads for the night into the cloud store. I used a small stamp from the Absotoothly Awesome stamp set to add some shimmery magic dust coming from their wands. A little Stardust Gel Pen adds a final touch of shimmer!
